Everything changed in my business when I stopped looking for answers outside of myself, and started trusting my inner compass.
But let's start at the beginning.
My journey into the world of online business began seven years ago, in May of 2015. I yearned to build something both meaningful and financially successful, but didn't know how. So I searched for answers outside myself. I spent ungodly, irresponsible sums on online courses, software, and masterminds. I gobbled up information about funnels, copywriting, conversion rates, launches, email marketing, webinars, and more.
Yet when I implemented these strategies, it never worked as well as promised, and it never felt quite right. Deep down, I could always sense I was using someone else's playbook to chase someone else's dreams.
It wasn't until the pandemic that I reached my breaking point. Given the time and space to introspect, I finally admitted I was on the wrong path. In those introspective days, I started to separate my own desires from ones I'd picked up from the culture around me. I started noticing patterns of self-sabotage that had beguiled me for years. I began to unwind the stories I'd been telling about myself, and started writing new stories.
And so, in mid 2020 I stepped off the old path, and started two new businesses, including the one you're visiting right now. But more importantly, I started showing up in new ways, using a new set of principles. I stopped using marketing tactics that rubbed me the wrong way. I started listening to my intuition, trusting it, and striving to do work that no one else but me could.
Don't get me wrong. It's not like I'm making insane amounts of money now. That would be a convenient thing to say on a sales page like this, but it'd be a lie.
But what I can say is that for the first time in seven years, I'm not only making a living, but I'm confident in the future I'm building for myself, and I'm enjoying the journey. Every day comes with genuine excitement to work on my business. I'm doing work that feels meaningful, and I'm making a ton of new friends.
That's what introspection—or personal archaeology, as I call it—has unlocked for me. A sense of peace and fluidity, in a business that increasingly feels like an extension of my soul.
And now I'm excited to share some of those same introspective tools, because I suspect they'll lead you somewhere equally delightful.
The Personal Archaeology Course
This is a course about introspection and self-awareness. It's for creative entrepreneurs who want to do work that matters, and show up in their business in ways that feel aligned with who they are.
I'll share a handful of tools that'll help you explore the depths of your psyche. Then I'll point you towards some interesting places to dig, so that you can discover the types of insights that'll fuel your creative work and business.
More precisely, Personal Archaeology can help you…
- Discover your gifts. In a world of noise, where most creators are blindly copying best practices, the secret to standing out is to create things no one else but you could. Personal archaeology helps you discover your unique gifts and perspectives, so you can share them with the world.
- Find the others. Understanding yourself gives you clues about the kinds of fans and partners will who make your business a joyous place to spend your days. And when your business is joyous, the long game takes care of itself.
- Get out of your own way. Introspection leads to clarity around patterns of thinking and behavior that keep you stuck and frustrated. I've never met a creator who wasn't their own worst enemy in some way, and introspection can help us unwind that dynamic.
Here are a few more specifics about how the course is structured, and what's in each module.
Module 1: Foundations
In which we dispel one of the most harmful metaphors in our collective psyche—mind as a machine—and instead treat our subconscious as a wild stallion we're out to befriend. And in which I plant seeds about what you may begin to discover as you travail and make friends with the psyche.
Module 2: Archaeological Tools
In which I share four practical tools that I use for understanding myself—targeted excavations, manic mind dumps, contemplative walks, and resonance reviews. All four work together to create the conditions under which introspective magic can occur.
Module 3: Excavation Sites
In which I give you areas to dig, so that you can make immediate improvements to your business and creative work. I'll share prompts that'll help you find the others, differentiate yourself in a noisy world, build an oasis, discover your inner compass, get out of your own way, and more.
And finally, there's an epilogue module that covers a few of the tools and modalities I've been using to supplement my own self-awareness journey. Understanding the nature of one's self is the work of a lifetime, so hopefully it'll give you a few new rabbit holes to travel down when you're ready.
And that's it, friends. Introspection has dramatically improved my life and business, so I'm excited to bring these tools to more creators who don't feel fulfilled with the status quo. Time to journey inward.
How long will it take to complete this course?
I don't know about you, but I hate massive courses that come with dozens of hours of video, and take weeks or months to complete. Ain't nobody got time for that.
For all of my courses, you can get through the material and do the exercises in about 3-4 hours.
Personally, I'd recommend setting aside an afternoon to blast through it. Or if you'd like to go at a leisurely pace, take it over the weekend.
What's your refund policy?
You have an entire year to test this thing out, worry free.
If, after 364 days, you don't feel this was worth every last penny, I will happily refund you.

I will honor 100% of the requests that follow these directions.
